PADI has announced that PADI Europe will no longer process plastic license cards.
In future, all licenses will only be offered as digital eCards. These can be saved and displayed in a PADI app on the mobile phone.
The PADI app is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The PADI app also includes other tools like
- hand signals
- tying knots
- diving checklist
- pro check
But if you wish, you can still order conventional cards made from 70% recycled plastic.
