Scuba Diver

Prerequisites :

Minimum age 15 years or 10 years for Junior Licence
Medical examination for scuba diving or signed declaration about your state of health in the dive centre
For minors declaration of parents

Subject :

The Scuba Diver is a beginners course that ends with an international licence for diving under professional guidance. The licence allows you to attend guided dives from dive centres. To be able to dive with any other licensed diver as buddy without professional guidance you need to obtain the Open Water Diver.

The course consists of 3 theory modules, practise in the pool and 2 open water dives in the ocean.

Duration :

2,5 days. Courses start usually on Mondays and Thursdays.

Objective :

The Scuba Diver licence is designed for those who don't have enough time to do the complete Open Water Diver, but still want to start scuba diving immediately. On your next vacation or back at home you may then conclude the OWD at any other PADI-Dive centre or back here in Tenerife of course.

The Junior Licence for participants younger than 15 years is limited to dives up to 12m depth.
