Instructor Development Course

Welcome to the start of your PRO-carreer as PADI Instructor! With your participation in a PADI IDC/IE program your carreer begins as professional PADI Instructor in the resorts arround the world. We will use all our experience of thousands of courses and dives with clients from all over the world to prepare you to the best for your PADI IE (Instructor Examination). Hello, i am Svend Juegensen and will be your PADI Course Director during the IDC. During the IDC you will be trained to teach the PADI-System in confined water (Pool), open water and classroom. Learning from mistakes is part of the process. Allthough clearly defined goals have to be achieved to pass the course there will be no time limit. Under our supervision you may conclude your skills step by step. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere free of stess during the IDC to make your IDC a challenging and fun experience.

• Minimum age 18 years
• PADI Divemaster or equivalent licence
• 100 loged dives
• Medical certificate  
• Complete own equipment

IDCs are being offered often  as 7-day program. THAT IS TOO SHORT according to our experience. To garantie a good preperation and to give you all chances for passing the IE (Instructor Examination) we will give you 9 days for your IDC.

Your PADI Course Director will allways be present and will also attend the IE (Instructor Examination) if possible. 

If you

• have not been working in "Active Status" for a longer period or 
• your Divemaster training is a long time ago or
• you feel insecure about your skills and you are afraid not to pass the IDC,

we offer a PREP-Seminar. The PREP-Seminar lasts 3 days and will be scheduled directly before the IDC. We will train you individually to improve your skills.

The PREP-Seminar is not obligatory. Active PADI Divemaster with experience and a good DM-training may attend directly the IDC.

All prices of materials mentioned below are orig. PADI-EU prices from Hettlingen, Switzerland (pricelist of 2007). Shipping and tax will be added. Since the tax here on in Canarias is 5% only it is recommendable to order materials through us.

• First of all you need all course manuals of your PADI career (OWD, AOWD, RESCUE, DM). Missing manuals must be replaced.

• Also you will need all exams and quizzes for the IDC and your future teaching
