Prerequisites :

  • Advanced diving skills (min. CMAS** or PADI RESCUE or equivalent)
  • Medical certification for scuba diving or medical declaration signed by participant in place
  • For minors a confirmation signature of a parent or tutor is needed upon registration
  • A ProTec Advanced Nitrox Diver Certificate or equivalent Adv. Nitrox Diver Cards
  • More than 10 logged Nitrox dives up to 40m

Course program :

The SCR Rebreather course consits of theoretical lessons, practise with rebreather equipment in dry (Assambly, testing, disassambly, service) practises in the pool and practises in the open sea.

We will provide you with the DRÄGER DOLPHIN SCR equipment. Soda lime and NITROX are included in the course.

We will conduct dives to a maximum of 40m with the rebreather with different EAN-mixtures.

WHY SHOULD I DIVE REABREATHER ?

Diving with a REBREATHER is completely different from diving with "open systems" as you are used to. You beleive your diving skills are good and you have seen everything? Decend with a rebreather and you will discover scuba diving in a totally new way.

  • Very pleasent warm and humid breathing air
  • No freezing on lang dives
  • Diving with almost no bubbles and therefore absolutely quiet (perfect for fotographers)
  • No inhale resistence
  • Very very long dives, 2 hours no problem, up to 3 hours possible
